Through an ODA with Japan, the construction of the signs inside this airport accompanying the renovation and expansion of its international and domestic terminals was completed in September 2018. This time, we were contracted for the design, manufacture, transport, and installation of channel letter signs in two locations on the roof of the international terminal as an additional project.

Since we were replacing the existing signs, we had to make new signs and install them.
It was unclear at first how much we could use the existing steel frames and supports, so engineers came to Laos from Japan and Vietnam and used their experience to measure the thickness of the existing supports and examine the work site. We proposed the optimal solution and began building.
Since people from Laos, Vietnam, and Japan were interacting with each other during this project, it was a bit of a struggle to make communication and meetings go smoothly, but the project was completed without a problem and became a great overseas achievement for us.

We were contracted by Shimizu Corporation Vietnam to design, create, transport, and install signs at the factory entrance and on the wall inside the building for the establishment of a joint venture between Fujifilm and Yuwa.

Since we needed to create and install signs of both companies’ logos and names on the outside wall of the existing Yuwa Vietnam factory, we proposed a few options for sign sizes and layouts to fit the space after examining the site. Once we received approval from the client, we began creating the drawings. The sign spec required painting, and although it was difficult to mix Yuwa’s corporate color (green) at first, we made a sample and received approval. The client’s praise of the finished signs was very encouraging.

We were contracted by Idemitsu Q8 Petroleum (IQ8) to design, create, transport, and install a sign pole, canopy sign, fuel type display sign, and entrance/exit signs for their new gas station in Vietnam.
The client was having trouble imagining where would be the best place to install the sign pole for maximum visibility at the new gas station.

So we actually put up a flag of a similar height to the client’s sign pole, and took photos from the street to see how it would look from a driver’s perspective. The next day, we created mock-ups by inserting the client’s sign pole in the position of the flag in the photos, so we had something to share with the client in advance. The client was happy about this because there was no difference in visibility between the actual installation and our mock-up images.
